If people can't buy their pet products and refill their pet prescriptions online from you when they need them, they WILL buy them from another website. If you think your clients aren't already shopping online for their pet products, then take a look at the revenue from online pet prescription sales.

Any product you offer in your brick front clinic can be offered online. We have pre-formatted shopping carts with product photos and product descriptions so you don't have to do anything but send us a copy of your inventory with your pricing information. Add your entire line of prescription pet food to your online pet pharmacy for only an additional $30 per month!
Most pet products can be shipped "Priority Mail", which means you can get all of your shipping envelopes and boxes FREE from your local post office. The U.S. Post Office now offers their Priority Mail program, "IF IT FITS, IT SHIPS" which means you don't have to weigh or calculate postage. Your client pays a "flat fee" shipping charge, which is automatically calculated and at the time of the online purchase. Your E-mail Invoice serves as your record of the purchase and can be placed in the client's file or entered into your accounts receivable software. Your clinic will receive a copy of the patient's order via E-mail. Your staff can fill and mail the order the same day.
Your "merchant account" is what allows you to accept credit cards. You probably already have retail Merchant Accounts for your brick front clinic. However, you can not use your clinic merchant account or credit card swipe machine for online sales. Unlike a retail Merchant Account, your Internet Merchant Account will automatically calculate shipping charges for your clients and any applicable sales tax.
We have partnered with PayPal to process all of your sales from your online pet pharmacy to ensure that your internet sales are secure. Even if your clinic does not accept American Express and Discover, you will be able to accept these cards with our internet merchant account.
What does it cost to apply for an Internet Merchant Account?
VISA, MasterCard, Discover & American Express acceptance is included for free when you sign up for our Premium website package and there is NO credit check.
What will it cost to accept credit cards on the Internet?
Your Internet Merchant Account fees are comparable to your brick front merchant account fees you're used to paying. But unlike your brick front Merchant Account, you are NOT charged an annual membership fee, a monthly statement fee, an authorization fee, or a batch fee. Each time you make a sale from your E-commerce site, you will be charged a percentage (2.9%) of that sale, plus a 30˘ handling fee by PayPal. $1.00 per transaction is paid to Vet Web Designers to verify and process the credit card payment, verify the shipping address, E-mail your office a copy of the sale for fulfillment, and handle all customer service requests. This fee covers the processing of your ENTIRE online transaction with NO ADDITIONAL HIDDEN BANK FEES.

each month, you are issued an
Accounts Receivable check from Vet Web Designers. Your Accounts Receivable
check can be issued to any account or payee you choose. No untimely auto
deductions from your checking account causing overdrafts or fees. You also receive a monthly
"Internet Sales Report" to let you monitor how
your site is performing.
Each time you make a sale
from your online pet pharmacy, your office receives an invoice
via a dedicated sales E-mail
address. Your staff fills the order from your inventory, and mails the order
to your client. Our professional Accounting Department processes all of your credit card Sales, Returns & Exchanges for you. Your "Internet Sales Report" is used to reconcile your invoices and provides your Accountant or Bookkeeper
with a complete report of your monthly internet transactions. There is NO monthly minimum service fee for credit card processing. Internet Merchant Account fees are deducted from your monthly Internet Accounts Receivable check.
You keep 100% of your product mark-up while your website pays for itself.
